Commuting to Campus
Most WRAB2026 activities will be in buildings along Eastern Avenue, close to the Quadrangle and Fisher Library.
For visitors, it can be useful to know that the campus sits between Parramatta Rd and City Rd. Buses run regularly from Central Railway Station (at the Railway Square bus stop) to campus – the trip takes 10mins.
Along Parramatta Rd, there are 3 campus stops. The Main Gate is best for WRAB2026. Or, getting off at the Parramatta Rd Footbridge will mean you walk past the Holme Courtyard cafe on campus. If you are after stationery or printing, the Ross St stop is opposite an Officeworks. For buses that turn up City Rd, there is a University Footbridge stop.
You can tap-on and tap-off buses with a credit card, or purchase an Opal travel card with pre-loaded credit at 7-Elevans, Woolworths, or in train stations. A one-way trip from Railway Square / Central to campus costs between $2.50 and $3.50.
Students and staff often walk from Redfern Train Station to campus. It takes about 15mins.
Ubers (requiring a phone app) and taxis (accepting cash or card payment) are readily accessible throughout Sydney. You can ask to be dropped off at Fisher Library (via the Main Gates) or near the City Rd Footbridge.
